What's the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of romantic destinations?
For me it used to be a romantic dinner and a walk around the Trevi fountain around the cobblestone streets of Rome at night.
Truthfully though? Having idealistic expectations, a well-planned date with a location in mind, always ends up falling flat for me. Dinner ends up less than ideal. The one time in your life you expect to visit Rome? The Trevi fountain's being restored and you discover walking on cobblestone on heels is a nightmare.
Personally, the most romantic destinations end up being those unplanned moments where the unexpected happens.
Like witnessing the sunset from the Kiyomizu temple in Kyoto. After a tiring hike and getting lost in a maze of streets, I ended up sitting on the temple steps, hand-in-hand with a loved one, watching one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen, disappearing behind a mountain with the skyline of Kyoto underneath.
That trip to Italy? Not romantic Rome. But getting lost in the middle of the afternoon in a side-street in Bologna and gorging on the cheapest, best-tasting pizza I've ever had on the side walk.
So, what's your ideal romantic destination?

Blurb: The two things Cinder Relli loves the most in the galaxy are gorgeous men and high heels. When he’s offered a pair of glass high heels by a massive alpha werewolf claiming he’s the ruler of a planet far, far away, Cinder is skeptical, but both the heels and the man holding them are too gorgeous to resist.
Prince Char Charming of the Charming wolf clan believes he’s the luckiest man in the entire Ever-after Galaxy when he finds his fated mate in a strip club, but claiming Cinder is harder than he thought. When planetary rebellion, politics and betrayal get in the way of their romance, can Char still convince Cinder their love is worth fighting for?
