Welcome to the 71st week of My Sexy Saturday.
This week’s theme is Our Sexy Little Words. When we thought of this theme, we were actually thinking about all the things lovers say to each other while making love.
This week, I'm sharing a 7-paragraph snippet of A New Haven Christmas (Wolves of New Haven 6), my free short story from Evernight Publishing. In this scene, Pete and Fabio are about to engage in some sexy times, but Pete's jeans prove to be a challenge.
Whatever cheeky resistance he was thinking of mounting died the moment he saw the savage and primal hunger on Fabio’s face. Pete fumbled for the button and zipper of Fabio’s jeans. Pete’s brain still miraculously worked and they came off, but it died the moment Fabio began to aid him by tugging off his jeans.
“What’s with these jeans?” Fabio demanded with another savage tug.
“They’re skinny jeans. They’re supposed to be tight.” Pete didn’t add he wore the uncomfortable jeans for Fabio’s sake.
Teenagers wore those jeans and it shamed him to purchase a pair in the mall, but desperate men did anything to get laid. Well, it worked anyway, didn’t it?
“Love your tight jeans. I like your ass in them, but they’re hard to pull off.” The muscles in Fabio’s arms bunched and shifted, and a loud tearing sound filled the room as the denim fabric tore.
“You completely obliterated my jeans,” Pete accused.
“I’ll buy you a new pair. Hell, I’ll buy you several pairs.” Their clothes fell off them in a flurry. “I meant what I said, Pete. I’m done with playing around.”
Blurb: While the rest of his pack mates are celebrating the holiday season with their newfound mates, Peter Sanders is miserably counting off the minutes until he can head home. Pete knows he’s no one’s ideal mate. He’s mediocre, sells video games for a living, and still lives with his mother. Pete begins to think it’s going to be another miserable Christmas when his dream hunk strikes up a conversation with him.
Fabio Luigi may be new to the New Haven pack, but he isn’t blind to the glances a certain submissive wolf has been giving him all season long. Pete may believe they come from two different worlds for sparks to fly, but Fabio intends to prove Pete wrong.
